The University of Latvia was established in 1919 and is one of the oldest universities in this country. This university was known as the higher school of Latvia at first and changed its name and function in 1923. Also, this place was the Latvian State University from 1940 to 1941. If the applicants did not pass English language tests, they can take the online English test of this university and pay 40.00 EUR. Overall, it is critical to know that applicants with previous international education in the English language (like secondary or high school) do not need to present an English language certificate. For example, the “PRIMA” MAZĀ LUBĀNAS IELA 6, Riga, LV-1019 (nine floors, shared living room, shared bathroom, and other necessary living facilities) or “Reznas” MAZĀ LUBĀNAS IELA 11, Riga, LV-1019 (five floors, tenant, shared shower and kitchen). Furthermore, all these accommodation options are less than 20 minutes away from the university campus with well-developed public transportation systems, pay attention that international students must apply for accommodation only after acceptance in their chosen field of education.

Most of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at this university are full-time. Therefore, the students will not have enough free time to apply for part-time jobs in this country.
