history
This university was founded in 1995 as Institut de Formation de Gestionnaire de Patrimoine for bankers in this country and provided intensive courses for bank employees. Education was completely free at this university. However, the applicants had to work for at least two years for the bank to pay up their debts.
A university of finance was added to this institute in 2001 for public banking and finance students. Moreover, this university changed its name to the Geneva Business School in 2009 and offered international accreditations and certificates to all its students. They started their undergraduate courses for all domestic and global business students at the same time. Furthermore, this university opened two other campuses in Barcelona and Madrid in 2012 and 2018 with 200 students and many professional faculty members from Europe and other economically strong business communities. On the other hand, over 80 nationalities study and work in this country. Therefore, it creates a multicultural and diverse environment at this university since 2020. So, all international students can apply to study at this university and benefit from its global environment.
