history
Founded in 1941 by Anne-Marie Thommeret, the school emerged as a beacon of hope during the tumultuous period of Nazi-occupied France in World War II. Thommeret’s vision aimed to enhance the educational prospects for students amidst challenging circumstances. Today, the institution continues her legacy by providing an English bilingual education up to the French Baccalaureate / International Baccalaureate (IB) level.
Operating primarily as a day school, it also offers the option of 5- and 7-day boarding houses, accommodating various student needs and preferences. In 2009, the school expanded its educational offerings by introducing the IB Diploma Program, further enriching its academic curriculum. Subsequently, in 2018, the institution attained authorization to provide the IB Middle Years Program, enhancing its commitment to delivering comprehensive and globally recognized education.
