history
Berlin Brandenburg International School was founded in the fall of 1990 and was then called International School Berlin-Potsdam or ISBP. The school began its work with only 8 students and was located in a small villa. in 1995, the school began expanding and welcoming more and more students. and 7 years in, the number of students had reached 100 which was cause for a change of location. After a few years, the second location, which was in Neu Fahrland, came short in space as well, which resulted in another move.
Laster on, in 2001, a new property, closer to berlin, was chosen. It was more spacious, modern and equipped with high-tech facilities. about 300 international students joined the school and helped its growth. It was then when the name was changed to what we know now, Berlin Brandenburg International School.
