Studying master of Systems Engineering at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom:
This is a Level 7 master’s apprenticeship that prepares learners to take on system engineering roles. The course is suitable for experienced and qualified scientists, engineers, leaders, and managers who are interested in developing their skills in system engineering or related roles. On the other hand, it attracts students who have recently graduated and want to expand their knowledge and skills in this field.
Upon admission, students will be stationed at the Systems Engineering Center. For the past fifteen years, the center has been at the forefront of SE education development, blending the breadth of systems thinking with the rigor of system engineering, as well as integrating it with acquisition management.
The Master of Systems Engineering is designed to meet the needs of those seeking a career position in their chosen profession. Throughout the program, students will gain professional skills such as data management, leadership, communication, teamwork, ethics and more. They will pass on what they learn to their organizations and apply it through workplace practice.
The course is offered both in person and online, which takes three years to successfully complete. The program consists of a number of compulsory and elective modules, which are entitled below. Moreover, students should work on an individual project that may be of interest to them or their sponsors. The training is provided by external speakers from industry and defense and Cranfield’s leading specialists with industry knowledge, collective thematic research, and capability expertise.

Admission requirements of master degree in Systems Engineering:
Academic requirements:
To study the course, students must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field of engineering or science or work experience.
Apprenticeship requirements:
Apprentices are required to provide evidence of attainment of a Level 2 or higher degree in English and Mathematics.

According to Apprenticeship Levy plan, employers can fund apprenticeships for any new or existing employee with the right to work in the UK and their main place of work. Qualified organizations can use their Apprenticeship Levy to cover program costs. This program meets the needs of the Level 7 apprenticeship standard.
Language requirements of master degree in Systems Engineering:
To study this course, students must prove their ability to communicate in English, but if they do not have the required entry skills, they can apply for one of our EAP courses. The point that students should pay attention to is that the validity of our accepted exams is only for two years. Also, students must show all the elements of the test results in one test because the combination of scores in two or more tests is not acceptable. In addition, all test scores will be reviewed by test providers.
Cranfield requires students to have a minimum test score of: 7 on IELTS (none of the components should be less than 5.5), 100 on TOEFL (the minimum acceptable scores for the skills are: speaking 20, reading 18, listening 17, and writing 17), 68 on Pearson PTE (none of the components should be less than 59), 190 on Cambridge Assessment English (none of the components should be less than 160), overall pass on Language Cert (none of the components should be less than 33), or overall pass on Trinity College London.

The School of Water, Energy and Environment, the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, and the School of Management are located on the Cranfield Campus, as well as many industrial-scale facilities for research.
There are many facilities on Cranfield Campus, including: student accommodation options, two hotels with full accommodation and conference and banqueting facilities, sports and recreation facilities, and a private airport. Cranfield Campus sports facilities include several tennis courts sports pitches, playing fields, an aerobics stadium, and a fitness center.
Students admitted to a full-time course can apply for on-campus accommodation. They will also be able to find private housing off campus in nearby areas. Cranfield Campus has 1,466 single rooms, 75 studio apartments for couples, and 97 family homes including two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom houses. All dormitories have Wi-Fi internet connection. All students will benefit from Endsleigh insurance, which covers the risks that may occur while living in student accommodation.
