The focus of the course is on the spacecraft systems engineering that is to understand all the different systems and aspects which go together within a spacecraft and how these requirements can interact and often conflict. The astronautics and space engineering course has been evolving since 1987 and prepares students for employment in the aerospace sector. Graduates can acquire the skills needed to work in a variety of fields such as spacecraft operations, vehicle launches, ground observation, planetary exploration, and etc. They can also be hired as a robotic engineer, system engineer, and thermal analyst. Advantages of this course include: directing by an industrial consulting board (This panel will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge of the industry through the course content), encouraging interaction between students and potential employers, training by a small team of dedicated space engineering specialists, providing the latest knowledge and techniques effective on the industry. Students will also experience flying with an NFLC aircraft (this experience will complement your master studies). This course consists of four compulsory modules, an individual research project and a group design project which is offered from October to September. The provided modules may be modified or canceled due to research advances, changes in rules or for various other reasons.

Admission Requirements of master degree in Astronautics and Space Engineering:
The course only offers an MSc degree, which is held both full-time and part-time. Successful completion of the course takes one year full-time and two-five years part-time. To study the field, students need a first or second class UK honours degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, physics or an engineering discipline. Applications from other sciences, mathematics, or computing backgrounds, may be accepted.

The expiration date for the exams is only two years of the course start date. Combination of scores in two or more tests is not accepted, all elements of test results must be shown in one test. All test scores are checked with test providers.
