A wide range of A-Level courses covering science, mathematics, arts, humanities and business are available. Normally students will take three A-Level subjects across the 2 year programme, although in exceptional cases it is possible for four subjects to be studied.

Application Requirements:
- To be eligible for A-Levels, students must have a minimum of five GCSE passes at Grade 5 or above and this would normally include Maths and English.
- To study a subject at A-Level a minimum of a Grade 6 is required at GCSE. To study Mathematics a minimum of a Grade 7 is required at GCSE. For subjects that have not been taken at GCSE Grade 6 in related subjects is required.
- It is possible for students to join the college for Year 13 having completed Year 12 at another school or college but this is dependent on a previous school report, the subjects to be taken and content compatibility.

All departments offer educational visits to enhance the curriculum. These can include residential visits and trips to the theater, museums, galleries and to local universities.
Links with a number of local businesses have been built up to give students a flavor of what different sectors can offer and the skills they are looking for in candidates. Interactive workshops and voluntary work placements have all contributed to this.
