Curriculum:
You can choose to study on one of five specialised subject pathways:
- BUSINESS MANAGEMENT & ECONOMICS: you will develop a critical understanding of three core interdependent subjects – Business, Economics and Accounting. These will underpin future enterprise success through knowledge of organisation, markets, competition and value.
- HUMANITIES: The course has four components History, Politics, Geography, and Economics. Upon successful completion you will have access to a wide range of undergraduate degrees at top UK universities.
- ENGINEERING: you will focus on the building blocks of the discipline; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You will consider in detail; mechanics, electricity, magnetism, solids and fluids.
- MEDICINE: opens up progression opportunities to study Medicine at a range of universities both in the UK and overseas. Students need to have previously completed one year of level 3 study in Biology to be eligible for the Medicine pathway.
- SCIENCE: you will cover Biology, Biomedicine, Chemistry and Mathematics, developing and in-depth knowledge of chemical principles, additional Mathematics and gaining practical and theoretical biomedicine skills.
Each term you will study four key subject related modules.
Career opportunity:
Graduates can apply to continue their studies at other international schools or colleges in any country that they want. Overall, they can enter the top international universities after receiving their certificates from this college.

The Careers program at Abbey Cambridge offers a high-quality, impartial and up-to-date program of information and guidance, including:
- Speakers (ranging from professionals to former students) are invited to the College.
- Attendance at careers fairs and conferences,
Organization of variety of Careers-related activities themselves from their staff giving enrichment talks on careers in their specialist subject fields to hosting their annual UCAS Fair, where students use from Y11 onwards use Unifrog to look at careers opportunities and reflect on their own skills and aptitudes through the extensive personality tests available on the website. - Workshops on CV writing and interview techniques are provided, and through our exploration of work-related learning, students are helped to find work experience and placements at the end of Year 12 or take part in work shadowing activities provided by their partner InvestIN. This includes volunteering opportunities that students who participate in the Duke of Edinburgh pursue themselves to gain their silver or gold awards.
