Curriculum:
The British secondary curriculum of LES runs from 11 to 18 years of age, with three main blocks or stages of study:
- Key Stage 3 (11 to 13 years)
- Key Stage 4 (14 to 16 years)
- Sixth Form (16-18 years)
The last two are associated with the official GCSE, A Level and PCE examinations in the case of the Spanish curriculum.
Sixth Form – Years 12/13, 16-18 years old
Sixth Form students are free to choose 3 or 4 A Level subjects from the 20 options, which include Photography, Graphic Communication and Marine Science. This choice will be carefully planned in conjunction with the pupil’s tutor and parents, depending on the career they wish to study and their future aspirations.
Sixth Form (Y12 & Y13) are the last two years of school, corresponding to the Spanish Bachillerato. LES follows A-Levels (Advanced Level qualifications), a British subject-based qualification for students aged 16+.

Documents:
- A copy of the NIE, DNI, Passport or Proof of Birth of the pupil.
- A copy of the NIE, DNI or Passport (only in case of not having NIE or DNI) of the student’s parents.
- A copy of the school reports of the last two academic years translated into English or Spanish
- Students who will be attending A-Level at school need to provide a copy of their Secondary School Certificate from their home country.
- If your child receives educational support/reinforcement, has a psycho-pedagogical report and/or attends psycho-pedagogical or speech therapies, you MUST provide all evaluation reports and/or school evaluations.
- Medical certificate and photocopy of vaccinations.
Proof:
- A test will be carried out to assess the student’s level of English and Mathematics.
- Applicants will be required to take an entrance test in Mathematics and English if they have not reached the required national standard in these subjects. The choice of subjects may be limited depending on their previous examination results.
Last Step:
- The Head of School will make the final decision, based on the recommendation and after a personal or Skype interview.
English language requirements:
6th form students must be fluent in English. Their proficiency will be evaluated through interviews. Students who do not meet the necessary requirements, may be offered the opportunity to take part in English classes.
Deadlines and intakes:
Advance payment discount: a discount of 3% will be applied to the tuition fees if paid in advance for the full year, before 30th June 2023.
Payment Deadline:
- Term 1: charges issued Sept 1st 2023
- Term 2: charges issued Jan 1st 2024
- Term 3: charges issued April 1st 2024

Lady Elizabeth school is a boarding school that provides students with a healthy and supportive environment. It gives students the choice to take residence in the school dorms. The school residence is located in a safe and beautiful area, which is within walking distance from the school and various recreational places like the beach and a shopping center. And the students are separated based on age and gender.
The dorms are constantly monitored in order to ensure the safety and well being of all students. even though students have the chance to use a wide range of amenities, they are motivated to be in charge of their own personal space and daily tasks. This helps them learn the value of responsibility and independence, while being in a supportive and loving environment.
Finally, students can decide how many days a week they wish to stay in the dorms. Students who choose the full boarding option, can live in the dorms every day of the week and are required to pay €31420 a year and those who choose the weekly boarding option, can take residence in the dorm room during the weekdays, 5 days a week. The weekly boarding option costs €25900 per year.
