Application Requirements:
- A degree from a university or equivalent accredited Master’s programme (MA or MSc) – Part-time MBA degrees are not accepted.
- A complex state-recognized language examination at level “B2” or higher in at least one foreign language.
- Applicants may apply without prior studies in the relevant discipline but must meet all admission requirements. They must undertake designated catch-up courses and pass an exam during the first semester of their PhD studies.
- Preference given to applicants who have won an OTDK (National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference) award. Proven research ability (OTD, scientific publications) is also advantageous.
- Proof of payment of the procedural fee.
- A copy of a document proving that you have the required educational qualifications or are in the process of obtaining them.
- A copy of the language certificate(s).
- Research plan or essay (specific to doctoral school).
- A copy of documents proving your previous professional and academic achievements (diplomas, certificates, publications, appointments, etc.) – if available.
- To apply to the Doctoral School of Business and Management, you must also pass a written examination.

Corvinus University consist of three dormitories:
- Kinizsi Dormitory
- Tarkaréti Dormitory
- Földes Ferenc Dormitory
Generally, the university’s dormitories can accommodate approximately 1100 individuals in rooms with 2-3 beds or, in some cases, with 4 or 5 beds. Some of the Services are : Computer Room, Study Room, Gym, Bicycle Storage Room, Washing Facilities, Cleaning Tools, WIFI connection.
After Graduation
Corvinus University strongly encourages students to take part in internships and part-time jobs during the course of their education. Its aim is not limited to encouragement; in fact, it provides students with the opportunity to benefit from career counseling and helps them look for job opportunities. Students even have the opportunity to take on internship positions in other countries upon graduation or during their break. They usually take from two months to a year and students are required to work for at least 30 hours a week.
