Language requirements for applying to Royal Crown School in Canada:

All students who attend Royal Crown as international students are required to take the following assessments: a standardized English proficiency test (IELTS, TOEFL, iBT, CAEL, CELPIP) or our Royal Crown English placement test. Students may also be required to write a Math Assessment in order for our educators to place the students in the correct courses.

Those enrolled in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program will be required to write our ESL Assessment test. This English placement test is used to determine a student’s English proficiency level. The test assesses the student skills in Listening, Reading, and Writing. Students will be placed in an ESL level based on the result.

Royal Crown orchestrates an Ontario education and preparatory curriculum for university, spanning Grades 7 through 12. RCS eagerly anticipates the continuation of our Grade 7 and 8 program! Adhering to the Ontario Curriculum, they present an extensive array of courses throughout the academic year.

Throughout the year, students will receive continual formative and summative evaluations of their progress, with achievement reports disseminated to parents at mid-term and the conclusion of each semester.

At RCS, pupils engage in a comprehensive education through the demanding Ontario Curriculum. The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), bestowed upon graduates in Ontario, is esteemed by universities globally. Scholars undertake 18 mandatory courses as an essential part of the OSSD.
