Studying master of Counselling Psychology in University of the West of England in the UK:
The counseling psychology doctoral program is suitable for applicants who have a master’s degree in relevant areas in counseling and want to continue their studies at higher levels in the UK, also this program is a part of the health and social sciences department at the university of the west of England in the UK, moreover, the students will attend classes in September of each year for three years in the full-time mode of education, furthermore, the part-time applicants will study for four to five years at this university, on the other hand, the students must attend classes on the Frenchay campus of this university in both part-time and full-time modes of education.
The students will learn about principles of counseling psychology, theory in counseling psychology, personal developments, qualitative methods, quantitative methods, and so on, also have research projects at the end of each academic year, even, the students must present a final project as their professional doctorate thesis which must be at least 40000 words in a new, critical, and related issue in counseling psychology to prove their research abilities which will help them keep themselves updated in the future job market of the UK or any other country that they want.
The teaching method in this program is mainly based on role-play, skills work, demonstrations, trainee presentations, projects, practical work, and other similar activities, also the assessment of the students is based on direct observation, case studies, process reports, and a doctoral thesis at the end of their study period, moreover, the full-time students have classes two days each week for one year and one day a week in the next two academic years while the part-time students must attend classes one day a week in their four to five years of doctoral education, overall, the graduates can find occupation in the private and public sectors in the UK or the global job market (with direct help from the career services of the UWE).
Admission Requirements of master degree in Counselling Psychology:
