The module is aimed at registered health care professionals currently working in an appropriate area of practice. This module can be studied at Level 6 or Level 7. In order to study at Level 6 you will need a diploma level qualification. In order to study at Level 7 you will need a degree level qualification. Students who commence the module have one month from the start date to transfer between levels after this time transfer will be at the discretion of the Programme or course Lead.Course Overview
This module enables practitioners with a role in the promotion of health and well-being in children and families to develop a critical understanding of typical patterns of physical, social and emotional development and issues in its definition and assessment. Factors influencing child development will be explored together with a critical evaluation of the impact of parental health and well-being.Assessment
