You must have studied 7HSK0290 Advanced Health Assessment and Diagnostic Indicators or a course or module that meets the learning outcomes of these modules. You can study this module either before or alongside the Minor Illness module. If you are a self-funding student, it is your responsibility to ensure that before you apply for this module, you have access to appropriate supervision. If you need to access alternative clinical environments in order to evidence advanced practice hours, then we strongly recommend you arrange supervision well in advance of applying for this module. Failure to have this support in place may leave you at a disadvantage in meeting the learning outcomes of this module. In order to study at Level 7 you will need a degree level qualification. You should be a qualified health care professional currently working in an appropriate area of practice. Applications from those who have no previous level 6 study will be considered on an individual basis but will first need to meet with the admissions tutor, Aileen Wilson, to discuss their application. If you have non-UK academic qualifications you will need to supply evidence of comparability. The organisation ECCTIS will supply this for a reasonable fee https://www.enic.org.uk/Qualifications/SOC/Default.aspx. You should also have current professional registration (NMC, HCPC etc) and be employed as a health care professional in an appropriate setting.Course Overview
