Being able to make your own clothes is both empowering and inspiring. These two courses offer to teach you a practical set of skills which will enable you to become familiar with the basics of machine sewing, help you build your confidence when working with professional machines and develop a range of related sewing skills. Each week you will create a file of samples to show the different techniques you are mastering, as you expand your skill set, explore new areas, and experiment with new techniques in sewing and making your own clothes, giving you the independence you need. These courses consist of two 12 week complementary courses, running one after the other (although you can take them in any order you wish). If you take both of them you will learn all the sewing skills needed to design, create and make your own clothes. With each course focusing on either lower or upper body sewing techniques, you can choose whichever best fits your aspirations for creating new garments and styles.Fashion – Professional Sewing Techniques: Lower Body
