This course blends theory and practice to equip you with the skills you need to work in the environment and energy sectors. You’ll be taught by experts and can tailor the course to suit your needs.
Going green is more than just a fashionable phase. In a world of finite resources going through a population explosion, much effort is being made to change the way in which developed societies consume energy and materials and dispose of waste.
This MSc was born from the necessity for the next generation of engineers and scientists to be aware of the issues surrounding this sensitive and often controversial field.
You’ll be taught by staff that are actively involved with and working in this field. You’ll become a member of a leading, research active department and part of one of the largest and most successful engineering facilities in the UK. You’ll earn a degree that commands respect nationally and internationally from industry and academia alike.
The content of our courses is reviewed annually to make sure it’s up-to-date and relevant. Individual modules are occasionally updated or withdrawn. This is in response to discoveries through our world-leading research; funding changes; professional accreditation requirements; student or employer feedback; outcomes of reviews; and variations in staff or student numbers. In the event of any change we’ll consult and inform students in good time and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption. We are no longer offering unrestricted module choice. If your course included unrestricted modules, your department will provide a list of modules from their own and other subject areas that you can choose from.
