ABOUT
Criminology has been taught within the School of Law for over 35 years and has an outstanding reputation for both teaching quality and world-leading research in areas such as: policing, victims and restorative justice and the reasons why people stop offending.
As part of this three-year course, you’ll examine real-world examples of crime and punishment and get to grips with the history of how different societies have understood and responded to crime. You’ll learn how criminological research is undertaken and develop the skills required to conduct research of your own.

The content of our courses is reviewed annually to make sure it’s up-to-date and relevant. Individual modules are occasionally updated or withdrawn. This is in response to discoveries through our world-leading research; funding changes; professional accreditation requirements; student or employer feedback; outcomes of reviews; and variations in staff or student numbers. You must demonstrate that your English is good enough for you to successfully complete your course. For this course we require: GCSE English Language at grade 4/C; IELTS grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component; or an alternative acceptable English language qualification

- 26 January and 30 June for further consideration, although we may not be able to consider your application if all the places on the course you’ve applied for have been filled
Applications for places on Medicine and Dentistry courses must be submitted between 1 September and 15 October.
