Introduction:

What you’ll study

The curriculum consists of ten core modules (total 100 credits) and a project module (worth 40 credits). You can then choose one of the following:

• 4 x MBA modules (worth 10 credits each) OR
• 4 x Data Analytics modules (worth 10 credits each)

The course starts with an induction to help familiarise you with the online learning system and ensure that you are able to navigate successfully. The time to completion is two and a half years.

Leadership modules – Become a strong leader

You begin the Online MBA with the Professional and Leadership Development module; this will run alongside your studies from the outset and improves your reflective practice and personal development planning, concluding with you creating a targeted development plan.

You’ll then go on to complete the Responsible Leadership module which underpins your learning and knowledge for the rest of the course, allowing you to foster a critical understanding of values and ethical decision making in business.

Overall, you will have eight core modules to complete over the course. These include The Values-Led Organisation, Global Marketing Management, Operations Management, Organisations and People Management, Financial Management, Business Information and Decision Making, Global Business Simulation and Strategic Change Management. These modules are designed to  expand your knowledge in fundamental management concepts.

Specialism modules – Personalise your study

The Online MBA provides you with the opportunity to personalise your study around your own professional career development and goals. There are four elective modules each for the general Online MBA and the Data Analytics  specialism, which can be found in the module section below.

Business research project

The final module is the Business Research Project, in which students will engage in a meaningful and applied piece of research designed to equip students with a theoretical grounding in research methods and its practical application.

You will gain a multidisciplinary qualification from an accredited business school and triple award-winning university which will enable you to either advance to a more senior position in  an organisation, or if you are already a senior manager, it will give you the opportunity to study the core disciplines that are required to make even more of an impact and progress even further within the business world.

Entry requirements

To apply for the Online MBA or Online MBA Fast Track, you will need:

• Completed application
• A good UK honours degree or overseas equivalent in any discipline, plus a minimum of 3 years continuous management experience
• One reference*
• A statement of purpose
• CV
• Language requirements (international students only)

*Your reference can be in the form of a letter of recommendation, sent as a PDF via email, or as an email from the referee’s professional account. All references sent directly from the applicant must be accompanied by either a wet signature, letterhead or a business card relating to your chosen contact. If a reference is sent from a corporate email account, this is not required.

In exceptional circumstances applicants without a degree will be considered, if they can demonstrate in their personal statement that they have been in a senior management position, managing people and budgets, for more than eight years.

Fees and funding

The below fees and funding information relates to courses starting between September 2021 and August 2022. Fees and funding are subject to annual review and will be confirmed in due course for 2022/23 entry.

Course fees for September 2021, January 2022, May 2022 entry:

Tuition fees are payable for each year that you are at the University. The level of tuition fees for the second and subsequent years of your postgraduate course may increase in line with inflation and as specified by the UK government.

If you choose to study the two-year route of an eligible course, which incorporates a work placement, the fee for Year Two will be £1,385.

If you’re starting a postgraduate course in January 2023 you’ll pay the 2022 fee.

Late Applications

If you missed the UCAS January deadline, it’s not too late to apply to join us in September 2022.

Applying to university after the January deadline isn’t anything to worry about – we accept applications for most of our undergraduate courses until Thursday 30 June 2022.
