We’ll bring together biology and chemistry on this course and we’ll support you as you discover disease prevention, diagnosis and treatments and how you can turn these into solutions for global challenges. And through studying the processes in living organisms you’ll be advancing your understanding of the underlying data with bioinformatics and how to communicate your finding.

Entry requirements
What are we looking for?
- A-levels – AAB, including Biology grade A and Chemistry, Physics or Maths grade B; or
- BTEC Extended Diploma – DDD, including relevant Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Maths modules; or
- 136 UCAS Tariff points from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, including an A-level grade A equivalent in Biology and grade B equivalent in Chemistry, Physics or Maths; and
- GCSEs – English, Maths and Science grade C / 4
Fees and funding
If you choose to study the two-year route of an eligible course, which incorporates a work placement, the fee for Year Two will be £1,385.
If you’re starting a postgraduate course in January 2023 you’ll pay the 2022 fee.
Late Applications
