Introduction:
Developed with companies and reflecting the changing corporate world, this highly relevant course covers a broad range of management functions, processes and techniques associated with running a business. It is the ideal choice if you want to keep your options open and shape your career aspirations during your studies.
This course will equip you with an understanding of business theory and practice in today’s domestic and international business environments. It follows a broad curriculum and covers key disciplines at all three levels.
During your studies you will learn about the key facilities within business such as operations, marketing, accounting and finance to provide you with a comprehensive overview of how each of these functions impact real-world businesses across the globe.
This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) providing our students with a dual-award status.
This course can be studied over three years full-time or four years with a placement, and offers all students the opportunity to gain some industry experience or travel overseas to study abroad in one of our partner universities with our unique opportunities scheme.

Entry requirements
For this course, you will need one of the following:
- A-levels – AAB, excluding General Studies; or
- BTEC Extended Diploma – DDD; or
- 136 UCAS Tariff points from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, excluding General Studies;
and
- GCSEs – English grade C / 5 and Maths grade B / 5
Fees and funding
International fees for 2022 entry onto a full-time undergraduate course are:
- £15,600, or
- £16,200 (for courses in the Nottingham School of Art & Design and Nottingham Business School).
Tuition fees are payable for each year that you are at University. Tuition fees for the second and subsequent years of your undergraduate course may increase in line with inflation and as specified by the UK government.
If you choose to do a work placement as part of the undergraduate course the fee for the work placement will be £1,385.
Late Applications
If you missed the UCAS January deadline, it’s not too late to apply to join us in September 2022.
Applying to university after the January deadline isn’t anything to worry about – we accept applications for most of our undergraduate courses until Thursday 30 June 2022.
If you apply after Thursday 30 June 2022, your application will automatically be entered into Clearing. Clearing opens on Tuesday 5 July 2022, but we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible.
