Studying in GCSE Level Courses at MPW College (London campus) in the UK:
MPW London offers one year GCSE courses and two year GCSE courses in over 30 subjects at our college in South Kensington, with full-time courses over two years for students joining in Year 10, one year programmes for students transferring to us at Year 11, and programmes for students retaking GCSEs. Inside, over 70 stylish, en-suite bedrooms offer a comfortable space in which you can study and relax. A large canteen serves up an internationally inspired menu of meals and snacks throughout the day, as well as providing a social hub for the building.
Step outside of the building and you’ll be just moments away from world-famous academic and cultural attractions. Hyde Park, London’s largest green space, sits at the end of the street and the area has a thriving food and café culture.
After Graduation
Each student is assigned to a Director of Studies, whose role is to supervise students’ academic progress, university applications and general welfare. Directors of Studies have light teaching loads, enabling them to be freely available to students, parents and subject tutors. Regular individual meetings are held to discuss test results, progress in class, homework, UCAS applications and reports.
Parents are encouraged to communicate with Directors of Studies on a regular basis and informal meetings between parents, students and tutors provide a constructive forum for assessing progress. Written reports from the subject tutors and a covering report from the Director of Studies are sent to parents twice in the Autumn and Spring terms and once in the Summer term.
