Students who are studying at Solbridge university have the opportunity to be accommodated in a university dorm room or take residence off-campus and in an apartment. Those who choose the university residence, become situated in the SolGeo Residence and share a bedroom with a roommate. The university tries to organize the rooms and roommates in a way that two students from two different nationalities are accommodated in the same room. This helps the diversity and unity of the university even more and helps students become familiar with different cultures.
SolGeo Residence is within walking distance from multiple shops, restaurants and other recreational facilities; furthermore, it is equipped with a library, dining area, dance studio and study halls. It is also fully secure and safe.
After Graduation
Solbridge international school of business in south Korea constantly emphasizes the importance of gaining first-hand professional experience and becoming familiar with the job market. That is why students are repeatedly given the opportunity to apply for part-time jobs. Not only does the university motivate the students, but also it helps them achieve that goal. BBA and MBA students have the opportunity to take on a part-time professional position on campus and work 20 hours a week. This way they can earn first-hand professional experience and earn an income that mounts to a monthly wage of around $450. They can also work as peer-group leaders, admissions assistants and camp assistants on campus during their breaks and holidays.
Additionally, all international students have the opportunity to apply for a work permit from the Korean Immigration Office and work off-campus for 20 hours per week in a manner that does not interfere with their visa agreements in any way.
