All national and international students of Vistula university in Poland have the option of taking residence in the university dorms. All the rooms are similar and consist of two beds. This means students live with a roommate, which can lead to long lasting friendships and bonds. They also learn to be more tolerant of other people and be responsible. Additionally, all the rooms are equipped with drawers, closets, desks and necessary kitchen utensils. Also, each room has its own bathroom so that the students do not have to share a bathroom with a large number of people.
The safety and the security of the dorms is impeccable. The hallway is equipped with not only CCTV cameras, but also carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, and sprinkler systems. Furthermore, the university residence is situated in safe location and each student is required to pay 210 euros a month.
After Graduation
Vistula university in Poland provides all students with career counseling in order to ensure professional success of all its graduates. Students can benefit from career counseling online and in person. However, due to the pandemic and safety matters, only online consultation is possible at the moment.
Students take a test, through which their competencies, interests and potentials will be determined. Upon analyzing that test and its results, the counselors of the university help students build a strong resume and make contact with suitable employers and companies. Generally, a future plan is made for each student’s career path and they are taught how to prepare the necessary documents, who to write an application and how to succeed in job interviews.
Furthermore, Vistula university emphasizes the importance of not limiting academic education to only theoretical aspects. It strives to provide students with an education that familiarizes them with the reality of the job market and their fields of interest. By taking part in simulation and reality like activities, students gain an in-depth understanding of their future professional role.
