Following graduation there are a number of job options not only in Latvia and Lithuania but in other countries as well – working with children and youth in a multicultural environment, as well as in refugee and asylum seeker centres. Potential employers – local government, social and educational centres for children and youth, childrens’ crisis centres, as well as the option of conducting research and continuing with doctoral studies.

Application Requirements:
Academic:
- Bachelor in Social Work;
- at least 2 years of professional or voluntary experience in the field of social work, which can be documented
- experience in research projects, conducting research and publishing its results in scientific publications
Administrative:
- Submission of a complete set of required application documents in English language versions (certified English translation, if required). If the admission committee is asking for additional documents, it has to be submitted within 2 weeks. If the required documents are not received within 2 weeks, the application is no longer considered.
- Non-submitted applications, incomplete applications and applications received after the application deadline will not be taken into consideration.
English language requirements:
All applicants must demonstrate their English language proficiency by submitting documents that testify their knowledge of English.
Applicants with English as the language of instruction at the secondary/high school do not have to confirm their English proficiency to RSU.
