accommodation
By attending Notre Dame International High School in France, students are faced with a wide range of accommodation options. Students are faced with two different opportunities; boarding accommodation and host family accommodation. Those who choose the boarding accommodation option can take residence in the campus dorms. They are faced with two different options they can choose from, based on their needs and budget. They can choose a 5-day accommodation that costs 5200 euros per year or a 7‐Day Boarding option that costs 13100 euros per year. It must be mentioned that those who choose boarding accommodation must be at least 15 years old.
Students also have the option of staying with a host family for the duration of their education as well as their breaks. This gives students a better understanding of French culture and language. These families speak in French, therefore, students need to be somewhat fluent in French to be able to communicate properly. These families have been carefully selected by the school and provide students with a warm, welcoming, and loving environment. Students become a member of these families rather than merely guests. This option costs up to 6400 euros a year.
Additionally, there are mixed options for students with special situations or those who wish to experience both settings. Students can choose a 5‐Day Weekly Boarding with Weekend Homestay, which costs around 8000 euros per year. This way, students spend their weekdays in the school dorms and stay with their host families during the weekends.
It must be mentioned that in all of the options that were mentioned, students are provided with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and in some cases laundry, minus some minor exceptions.
