There are four main apartments for international students and the distributions are as follows:
- East district: Bojing Pavilion
- Middle district: Friendship Apartment (mainly for scholarship students)
- West districts: Huahong Apartment (mainly for postgraduate students)
- Huazhong University of Science and Technology provides hostel to international students: single room or two persons sharing a room with air conditioner, attached bathroom, color TV, telephone, bed with required amenities and furniture, internet access, public laundry and kitchen. Students are required to pay the electricity and water they used.
