Application Requirements:
- MA in economics from a recognized university with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or equivalent.
- Students with a high standing in a master’s degree or equivalent in other fields, such as commerce, mathematics or business administration from a recognized university may be admitted, subject to satisfactory completion of qualifying requirements, if necessary.
- Transcripts: Applicants must submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Letters of Recommendation: Typically, two or three letters of recommendation are required from individuals familiar with the applicant’s academic and/or professional abilities.
- Statement of Purpose: Applicants must provide a statement of purpose outlining their research interests and career goals, as well as their reasons for pursuing the PhD program in Economics at Concordia University.
- Resume/CV: A current CV or resume should be submitted, outlining the applicant’s academic and professional experiences, publications (if any), and research or industry involvement.
