The MEnv in Environmental Assessment gives you a comprehensive background in scoping, data collection and analysis, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Application Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline in Arts or Science from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 3.30 out of 4.30.
- Strong language skills in English and/or French.
- Proficiency in English. Applicants whose primary language is not English must demonstrate that their knowledge of English is sufficient to pursue graduate studies in their chosen field. Please refer to the English language proficiency page for further information on requirements and exemptions.
English language requirements:
• Applicants, regardless of citizenship, whose primary language is not English, will be required to provide proof of English proficiency scores prior to their admission to Concordia University. Test results that are more than two years old at the time of application will not be accepted.
• English second language (ESL) course requirement: The Department of Education offers ESL courses to non-native speakers of English who are accepted by Concordia University but who must upgrade their reading and writing skills.
• In all cases, the University reserves the right to require an English language proficiency test if it is deemed necessary.

Upon graduation, international students are entitled to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), enabling them to seek employment in Canada.
