Application Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with above-average standing.
Completion of COMP 248 Object-Oriented - Programming I or equivalent courses in an object-oriented language such as C++ or Java prior to entry into the Diploma program. Equivalence will be determined by the Diploma Program Director.
- Transcripts: Applicants must submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Letters of Recommendation: Typically, two letters of recommendation are required from individuals familiar with the applicant’s academic and/or professional abilities.
- Statement of Purpose: Applicants must provide a statement of purpose outlining their research interests and career goals, as well as their reasons for pursuing the GrDip program at Concordia University.
- Resume/CV: A current CV or resume should be submitted, outlining the applicant’s academic and professional experiences, publications (if any), and research or industry involvement.
English language requirements:
• Applicants, regardless of citizenship, whose primary language is not English, will be required to provide proof of English proficiency scores prior to their admission to Concordia University. Test results that are more than two years old at the time of application will not be accepted.
• English second language (ESL) course requirement: The Department of Education offers ESL courses to non-native speakers of English who are accepted by Concordia University but who must upgrade their reading and writing skills.
• In all cases, the University reserves the right to require an English language proficiency test if it is deemed necessary.
