Application Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent to be eligible for admission. If your diploma is not from Canada or the United States, you may be required to provide additional documentation to demonstrate that your education is equivalent.
- Audition: You will need to pass an audition demonstrating your proficiency in jazz performance on your instrument or voice. The audition will be judged by a panel of faculty members from the Music Department.
- Theory Placement Exam: You will need to take a theory placement exam to determine your level of proficiency in music theory. Based on the results of the exam, you may be required to take additional theory courses before or during your studies.
- Personal statement: You will need to submit a personal statement outlining your interest in the program and your goals for your studies.
- Resume: You will need to submit a resume outlining your academic and professional experience, as well as any relevant extracurricular activities.

After Graduation
Concordia University in Canada offers an array of employment assistance services tailored specifically for international students. Upon graduation, international students are entitled to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), enabling them to seek employment in Canada. The PGWP application grants individuals the privilege to work in Canada for a duration of up to three (3) years. It is imperative to initiate the PGWP application process within 90 days of receiving the final academic transcripts while concurrently holding a valid Study Permit.
