Studying in Summer Sci-Tech Academy program at American University in Bulgaria:

Want to set the grounds of your career in science and technology? Establish a sci-tech startup that can revolutionize whole industries? Join the next generation of tech entrepreneurs and science explorers? The Sci-Tech Academy will help you do all that by paving the way for your technological and scientific career, and introducing you to astonishing scientific experiments and technological installations.

The programs are held on AUBG’s sunny Blagoevgrad campus and provide students and adults alike with opportunities to learn and grow.

Necessary information:

three meals a day

three hours of free time every day

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Classes

Evening activities: team building, team competitions, International Night, Movie night, Talent Night, Camp Fire Night, etc.

Early bird fee: 1049 Euro

Regular application fee: 1199 Euro

If you decide to cancel for a reason your participation in the Academy after June 16, you will be taxed with a 100 USD non-refundable fee.

The undergraduate students at American University in Bulgaria must live in the student halls inside the campus facilities at this university because the university tries to keep the students’ living and study experience completely international and help them become more in touch with different cultures in a safe, calm, clean, and healthy environment. Therefore, the students cannot choose to get an apartment in the city or even close to the university campus and must use the university accommodation facilities. New students can use the help of resident assistants in the student halls who will help them feel at home and comfortable from the first day they start their education at this university. Therefore, the parents do not have anything to worry about because the students will only focus on their education at the American University in Bulgaria. Skaptopara I, II, and III are the first purpose-built residence halls in Bulgaria. They house 700 students in single, double rooms and suites. The diverse community and shared spaces create the perfect environment to thrive.
